ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The SAP PS Consultant leads full lifecycle implementations, analyzing business processes to recommend optimal solutions. They configure and customize the PS module, collaborate with stakeholders, conduct training sessions, and provide ongoing support. The consultant stays updated on new SAP releases, documents configurations, and integrates with other systems. They also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring system stability and performance
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in the full lifecycle implementation of SAP S/4 HANA PS solutions, including gathering requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Analyze business processes and requirements to recommend best practices and optimal solutions leveraging SAP S/4 HANA PS functionalities
- Configure and customize SAP S/4 HANA PS module to meet project management needs, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer sessions to empower end-users and facilitate adoption of SAP S/4 HANA PS solutions.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to SAP S/4 HANA PS application, ensuring system stability and optimal performance.
- Stay updated on the latest SAP S/4 HANA PS releases, features, and enhancements, and assess their impact on existing implementations and future projects.
- Document configuration, processes, and technical specifications, and maintain comprehensive documentation for reference and auditing purposes.
- Collaborate with the broader SAP and IT teams to integrate SAP S/4 HANA PS with other enterprise systems and applications as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, enhance system capabilities, and streamline workflows.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Provide remote/onsite SAP consulting services to key SAP customers on innovation products, mainly SAP S4HANA PS (Project System).
- Be actively involved in the preparation, design, realization and Go Live of customer implementation projects.
- Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage workshops/meetings with internal and external clients.
- Providing a creative source of ideas/solutions to address customer issues.
- Execution of innovation portfolio serving as primary contact from Customer Success service areas to deploy and implement solutions.
- Proceed with IMG configuration, design/execute implementation packages (e.g., RDS´s, best practices implementation guides).
- Get involved with customer scenarios, be able to understand business needs and discuss best approaches to help them
- WBS mapping and Creation along with Network
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge on PS standard and localized scenarios
- Experience developing/deployment as PS resource on projects and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability and good will to pick up knowledge in new areas
- Desired but not mandatory: Knowledge on ABAP programming (debugging) and Background on SAP Solution Manager Topics (functionalities & tools).
